Our October trip to Portmoak lucked out with some stellar conditions for wave and ridge flying. Spectacular visibility and the autumn colours made the experience that much more memorable. We were even able to venture off on xc in wave a couple of times although compared to the local guru's we still have plenty to learn. Some of us even got to soar next to a flying saucer. A brilliant trip, Newbies and old bullets alike were grinning like the Cheshire Cat.
